Hello, and thank you for supporting my research thesis.
You are invited to participate in a survey, which aims to measure participant's ability to forecast what another student will achieve academically when given basic information. In this survey, approximately 115 people will be asked to conduct a number of online survey tasks (including scenario-based predictive tasks), some association tasks, and answer some opinion-based questions in relation to technology. It will take approximately 30-35 minutes to complete the survey, and you will be prompted through a series of different tasks. There are 4 parts to this research that you will be guided through automatically, some of these parts will load a new webpage window detailing further instruction. This is ok as it is a part of the research platform design. Please remember your participation in this study is completely voluntary, and you may leave at any time by closing the browser window or selecting the exit button in the top corner of the screen.
SONA credits of 0.75 hours will be awarded to eligible students completing this study. Please ensure you select NEXT after the final debrief statement.
There are a couple of sections to this research, so be sure to complete them all. Participation will require the download of Inquisit player, this may be easier to complete on a computer than a phone.
There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point by closing the browser window.
